Project on International Cooperation in Science and Technology 1992 - 2003
This page provides information on a series of projects that were conducted withinthe Science and Technology PolicyInstitute at RAND. The projects are examining different aspects of government-sponsoredcooperation in international science and technology. The work details the extentto which the United States government is supporting international science andtechnology activities. Much of this work was conducted for the ExecutiveOffice of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy, National SecurityandInternational Affairs Division. Three types of studies have been produced:

I. An inventory of U.S. government spending overall

These projects drew on the RaDiUS database, the first comprehensive collection of information on U.S. government spending on research and development.
