This small exploratory task helped OSTP and the NSTC Committee on Environmentaland Natural Resources (CENR) Social and Economic Science Subcommittee betterunderstand the social and economic dimensions of environmental change bydeveloping an appropriate framework to view federal research in these broadareas. This task included looking at federal research dollars applied.
