About Health
Old Addenbrooke's Hospital
Providing healthcare to citizens of Cambridge, Addenbrooke's Hospital was founded in 1766 with £4,500 from the Will of Dr John Addenbrooke, a fellow of St. Catherine's College, Cambridge. In 1976 the hospital, which is now a large, renown teaching hospital and part of the NHS Foundation Trust, moved to more spacious premises on the southern edge of the city. The 'old' Addenbrookes Hospital is now the Judge Business School.
RAND Europe is pleased to contribute to an intellectual heritage for which Cambridge is known and has fostered for almost 800 years. Photos on our research area pages were selected to suggest an association of our work with qualities reflected in a relevant image of Cambridge's 'past and present'.
