American Cemetary War Memorial Building

Fourteen bronze models of various WWII military equipment and naval vessels adorn the entrance doors to the Memorial Building at the American Cemetery in Cambridge. Constructed as a temporary site on land donated by the University of Cambridge in 1944, the Cemetery was formally dedicated in July 1956.
