RAND Europe Staff Biographies
Neil Rickman, the head of ICJ Europe, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from McGill University in Montreal. Neil joined RAND Europe from the University of Surrey, where he remains head of the Department of Economics. Neil's research interests are in the regulation of service industries, especially in legal services and health care. In these areas, he has published research on medical negligence, legal aid reform, contingent fees for legal services, legal expenses insurance, litigation, and NHS contracts.
