The "Information Society:" Trends and Implications for Individuals,
Organizations, and Nations
Through a number of studies, the ISG has been providing perspective
and insight on how trends in information sciences are leading to the
transformation towards an "information society," how information science
is enabling breakthroughs in other disciplines such as biotechnology,
and what the broader political, social, and economic effects of these
trends are.
