RAND Business Leaders Forum
The RAND Business Leaders Forum is a membership organization that convenes top Russian, American, and European executives and policymakers for in-depth discussions on issues of critical importance at semi-annual meetings.
For more than a decade, the Forum has provided a unique and confidential channel for understanding and influencing members’ perceptions of, and responses to, matters of strategic importance for national and global economic and political development. By fostering understanding and cooperation through dialogue, the Forum seeks to promote commercial and economic relations and to strengthen political and security ties.
The RAND Center for Russia and Eurasia provides organizational and analytical support for the Forum. Andrew Weiss, Director of the Center for Russia and Eurasia, is the Forum’s Executive Director. The Forum was launched in 1997 by the late Jeremy R. Azrael, a long-time RAND political scientist and expert on the Russian economy.
The Forum meets twice annually, once in Moscow and once in New York City. Over a day and a half, members of the Forum exchange views with top policymakers and experts, exploring the major issues of the day in depth.
