Nursing Home Quality Measures
Revision and evaluation of the proposed Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 resident assessment tool for nursing homes to improve its accuracy and utility. The national evaluation will assess (1) the performance of the revised MDS, (2) the effect of revisions on nursing home quality measures, and (3) the case-mix classification for nursing home prospective payment.
