HIV Morbidity Monitoring Surveillance

A project to assist a national health agency in working with local health departments to develop probability samples of HIV-positive persons, and to collect chart and interview data for these patients, for the purpose of morbidity monitoring surveillance. Biosurveillance for Flu and Other Public Health Threats

A study describing the intended and current capabilities of the Department of Defense Serum Repository and suggesting desired characteristics of an optimal system for use of biospecimens, identifying and assessing specific opportunities for action, and offering recommendations for a target health surveillance architecture to optimize biospecimens for influenza and other key health threats.

Epidemiology of Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome

A project to develop a case definition and screening methodology and to conduct national population telephone screening to estimate prevalence and functional impact of interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome.
