Community Health Initiative

A five-year evaluation of Kaiser-Permanente's Healthy Eating Active Living community health initiative to create communities with access to affordable, healthy foods and active lifestyles and thus counter the growing trend in overweight and obesity and associated chronic diseases.

Project SNaX: A Healthy Living Study

In collaboration with Los Angeles Unified School District and key community stakeholders, a study to design and pilot test an intervention aimed at promoting healthy eating and physical activity among an ethnically diverse sample of middle school youth.
