Army Medical Department Strategies to Cost-Effectively Equip and Maintain Units Through Stages of Preparation and Deployment

A study to identify solutions to equipping Army Medical Department (AMEDD) units that will maximize readiness and unit effectiveness while also minimizing equipment and maintenance costs. Solutions should support units during all phases of their preparation and deployment for both current and future scenarios.

Military Installation Readiness for Mass Casualty Events

A project to improve DoD installation readiness for mass casualty events by creating an evidence-based framework for assessing risks; defining and identifying capabilities and capacities; and facilitating coordination among federal, state, and local government agencies and the private sector.

Joint Medical Education and Training

Assessing Medical Readiness of the Reserve Components

A study to review medical and dental readiness requirements of the reserve units, assess the systems used to monitor compliance with standards, and, where possible, identify the costs of maintaining reserve component members at the required level of medical/dental readiness and assessing the costs of alternative approaches to improve medical/dental readiness that will ensure compliance with reserve component standards.
