Trauma and Mental Health

Natural Course of PTSD Symptoms

A study applying advanced statistical methods to better understand the temporal course of posttraumatic stress disorder for a range of trauma victims, including veterans of the first gulf war, motor vehicle accident survivors, victims of traumatic injuries requiring surgery, female assault survivors, and victims of California wildfires.

Outreach for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

A study to develop and pilot test a psychoeducational outreach videotape for persons at high risk for PTSD based on early symptoms of trauma–related distress associated with a sudden physical injury requiring hospitalization.
