About the RAND Policy Circle

The RAND Policy Circle is a group of philanthropic individuals who understand the value of public policy research that is objective, analytical, and nonpartisan. By participating in the Policy Circle, members receive ongoing opportunities to interact with the RAND Corporation’s leading experts—through Policy Forums, roundtable discussions, Start Smart breakfasts, private events, and other activities—and to network with others in the Circle.

Policy Circle members are invested in making a difference; in helping to find effective, enduring solutions to complex and often urgent problems; and in ensuring that research findings get broadly disseminated, reach target audiences, and make an impact. The concerns of Policy Circle members are, like RAND’s research agenda, wide in scope: Challenges pertaining to the U.S. health care system, global health, educational achievement, foreign affairs and international security, economic growth, effective short- and long-term responses to catastrophes, and investing in alternative energies are among the long list of RAND’s current intellectual pursuits.

Membership in the RAND Policy Circle is available to individuals who make annual contributions to the RAND President’s Fund of $1,000 and above. Membership in the President's Circle is reserved for those who provide extraordinary service and financial support to RAND. Donations are tax-deductible, as RAND is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
