Ahmed Baghdady

Ahmed Baghdady joined RAND in 2007 as a Project Associate after working for two years at the Institute of International Education (IIE) as a Program Manager in the Higher Education Reform Project in Qatar. Prior to his move to Qatar, Ahmed was the Coordinator and then Director of the USAID-funded English Language Training Program administered by AMIDEAST in Egypt for five years. After receiving a B. Ed. in English language teaching, Ahmed has taught English language, business skills and teacher training at the American University in Cairo, the Fulbright Education Center, AMIDEAST and other institutions in Egypt for five years. Ahmed is currently enrolled in a Master's program in Educational Leadership at the University of Leicester and is expected to receive his degree in 2008. His research interests are strategic management and human resources development in Education.
