Christopher Beighley
Christopher Beighley (MS, Statistics, West Virginia University) joined RAND as a statistical/quantitative analyst in January 2005. His recent projects include performing analyses for the Math and Science Partnership in Southwest PA project; the National Longitudinal Study of No Child Left Behind for the U.S. Department of Education; a survey on alcohol marketing and alcohol-related outcomes; a secondary analysis of the national survey on child and adolescent well-being; a study on high attrition schoolhouse courses in the Air Force; and a study on the adequacy and efficiency of Preschool Education in California. Previously he worked in the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Branch at CDC/NIOSH and in the Division of Biostatistics at the Mayo Clinic. His areas of statistical expertise include mixed models analysis, categorical data analysis, nonparametric statistics, multivariate analysis, imputations, regression analysis, and statistical programming in both SAS and R.
