Alumni Giving

In 1998, RAND was celebrating its 50th anniversary. In its first fund-raising initiative, more than 200 RAND Alumni Association (RAA) members contributed more than $50,000. Alumni support has remained generous since the start. In 2005, the RAA conducted a two-year campaign to have a conference room on RAND's headquarters campus in Santa Monica named in its honor. The campaign was enthusiastically supported by RAA members and raised $155,000, which has been directed to the RAND President's Fund—RAND's vehicle for investing in people and ideas.

The RAND Alumni Association also offers the opportunity for members and donors to make Tribute gifts to honor fellow RANDites, family members, and friends. Some alumni may also wish to help ensure RAND's future by making a planned gift now, or including a bequest in their wills, through the Planned Giving program.
