Biography
Sarah Gaillot is a fourth year Doctoral Fellow in Policy Analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School (PRGS). In addition to researching racial-ethnic and gender disparities in trauma and mental health service use for her dissertation, Sarah is an Assistant Policy Analyst at RAND. For recent RAND projects she analyzed interviews with traumatic injury survivors, reviewed literature on sexual assault prevention and response, developed post-deployment health educational materials, identified best practices for promoting resilience, and evaluated an out-of-school time intervention. Sarah served as the liaison between RAND Health and PRGS Fellows and as a teaching assistant for PRGS. Prior to joining PRGS she taught English at the Seogwipo Girls' High School in the Republic of Korea on a Fulbright teaching grant. Sarah holds an honors BS in human development/family studies and psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and an MPhil in Policy Analysis from PRGS.
